The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, James Abiodun Faleke, has scaled up his constituency empowerment programme, distributing vehicles and income-generating assets to 2,247 beneficiaries in Ikeja.
The distribution event, held at the Police College Ikeja, saw beneficiaries receive a wide range of mobility and commercial assets, including:
2 coaster buses
50 Hummer buses
50 mini buses (Korope)
20 Toyota Camry and Corolla cars
50 Volkswagen Sharan vehicles
50 cargo tricycles
50 passenger tricycles
15 dispatch motorcycles
Faleke emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance livelihoods, stimulate small-scale enterprise, and drive economic activity across the constituency. “This initiative underscores our unwavering dedication to uplifting the standard of living of our people and creating opportunities for sustainable growth,” he said.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, was in attendance, personally presenting some of the assets to beneficiaries.
Highlighting the programme as part of a broader commitment to delivering democratic dividends, Faleke noted that the intervention aligns with efforts to ensure inclusive development and economic empowerment at the grassroots level. He reiterated his commitment to continuing similar initiatives, stressing that no constituent would be left behind in the drive toward shared prosperity.
