The Great Impact Spring Foundation, founded by Hon. Olujimi Oloja, has provided educational materials and financial assistance to pupils, elderly residents and business owners in Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, as part of efforts to improve education and community welfare.

The intervention, held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, benefited pupils from Araromi Primary School, Isanya Ogbo Primary School, Irepodun Primary School and Imaka Primary School.

The pupils received back-to-school packs, school uniforms, school bags, writing materials, gadgets, cash gifts and food items to ease the burden on families and encourage them to remain committed to their education.

As part of the programme, 20 beneficiaries received cash empowerment of N50,000 each, while 50 elderly persons were also supported under the foundation’s Care for the Aged package.

A cheque presentation was also made to the empowerment beneficiaries, with a total sum of N5,375,000, while another cheque of N2,875,000 was unveiled for the educational assistance programme.

The event also featured a raffle draw, with 20 winners—10 males and 10 females—receiving N10,000 each.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Adeleye Lukman commended the Great Impact Spring Foundation for the initiative, describing the intervention as one motivated by genuine concern for humanity rather than political interests.

“It is about passion and special love for humanity,” Adeleye said.

He noted that the programme came at an important time when pupils were preparing to return to school, adding that the initiative had brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of beneficiaries.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Day, Bimbo Banjo, urged the pupils to remain focused and dedicated to their studies, stressing that commitment to education would play a significant role in securing their future.

Banjo also expressed his support for the Convenor of the event, Hon. Olujimi, assuring that he was fully aligned with the initiative and its objectives.

The foundation’s intervention also extended to residents engaged in business activities, with financial support provided to help strengthen their livelihoods and improve their economic wellbeing.

The programme reflects the foundation’s commitment to promoting education, supporting vulnerable members of society and creating economic opportunities within the community.
